WHAT ARE THE NATIONAL CATHOLIC YOUTH MINISTRY AWARDS?
The National Catholic Youth Ministry Awards, sponsored by the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry, recognize the significant and outstanding contributions made by women and men to the field of Catholic youth ministry. Awards are given in multiple categories, and are presented biennially at the National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry. Not all categories are awarded each year. Use the official form to nominate individuals. Nomination forms are kept on-file and active for four years.
WHAT IS THE NOMINATION PROCESS?
Nominations must be submitted using the official nomination form below, and two letters of recommendation sent to the NFCYM. All qualified nominations are forwarded to an awards committee for review. The NFCYM Board of Directors has the final approval for all award recipients.
WHEN ARE NOMINATIONS DUE?
Complete nominations must be received by April 13, 2018.

WHEN ARE AWARDEES NOTIFIED AND WHEN IS THE AWARD CONFEERED?
Award recipients receive written notification in mid/late summer of the award year. Awards are conferred during the National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry. The 2018 NCCYM will be hosted in Tampa, Florida, December 6-8, 2018.
WHAT ARE THE NOMINATION EXEMPTIONS?
Current members of the NFCYM Board of Directors and Awards Committee are not eligible for this award. The NFCYM Staff, Board of Directors, and members of the Membership Management Committee and Awards Committee may not submit nominations or letters of recommendation.
