Ruby Mikell

Education and Experience 

Ruby has been a staff member of the NFCYM since September 1988. She has played many roles on the staff moving from part-time secretary to currently serving as the director of operations. She is responsible for the operating finances of the office, layout/design and editing of publications, and overseeing daily operations of the office. Ruby holds a bachelor of science degree in printing management. Her first full-time employment (lasting five years) was a secretary at the Executive Office of the President's Office of Management of Budget. She worked there from 1983-1988.

Personal

Ruby is featured as a "Sister Friend" in Pearls of Service: The Legacy of America's First Black Sorority—Alpha Kappa Alpha (© 2006). Ruby is the proud mother of three children: a singleton (daughter) and a set of twins (son and daughter).
