Supporting Military-Connected Youth and Families

Growing up in a military family provides unique opportunities and challenges. Moving frequently requires changing homes, schools, friends, and that which is familiar. It can also mean discovering things about the world firsthand. With all of these transitions, the developing faith of a young person grounded in the support of their family and the church is a vital asset that enables growth. Comprehensive youth ministry reaches out to military-connected youth. It encourgaes the entire Catholic faith community to offer a framework in which the Catholic church can welcome and celebrate the gifts of youth and families wherever they serve their country. The following resources are provided for military-connected youth and those who serve as their Catholic youth ministry leaders.
