Associate Director for Office of Evangelization and Catechesis - Diocese of San Angelo

The Office of Evangelization and Catechesis of the Diocese of San Angelo is seeking a qualified person with a master’s degree in theology or pastoral studies and at least 5 years experience at the parish or diocesan level to fill the position of Associate Director. Responsibilities include leadership formation and training for minister, consultation for parish and campus ministry leaders, assistance in developing programs, mentoring and resourcing ministers. Involvement in Region 10 Youth Ministry, National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry, and Catholic Campus Ministry Association is required.

Ability to work with a flexible schedule because some evening and weekend work is included. Travel within the diocese is required.

Coordinator of Youth and Young Adults - Diocese of Bridgeport

This position is responsible for catechesis and evangelization for youth and young adults at the Diocese level. This individual provides pastoral assistance and formation to parishes serving youth and young adults (i.e. persons between the ages of 14 through 35 years), coordinates youth ministry, and ministry for young adults (including preparation for marriage).  In collaboration with other staff, this person creates opportunities to form intentional disciples among older adolescents (middle school), high school age youth, and young adults in the Diocese of Bridgeport and supports those who minister to them in parishes and schools.  Requirements include demonstrated leadership in diocesan ministry, significant experience working effectively with young people and young adults and a Graduate Degree in Catholic theology or religious studies.  See the job posting at bridgeportdiocese.org for further details and requirements.


Communications and Office Support Specialist - Diocese of Richmond

The Catholic Diocese of Richmond is seeking a Communications and Office Support Specialist to provide support to the following three offices: The Office for Evangelization, Office of Social Ministry, and Center for Marriage, Family and Life. The Communications and Office Support Specialist will enable a strong social media and web presence for all three offices, will develop and support online registration for various office events and programs, and will oversee the office finance-related processes. 

Qualifications: Minimum of H.S. Diploma required; must possess strong computer and design skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Web Design Skills (particularly WordPress), in-depth knowledge of social media, social media advertising and corresponding tools and platforms, including but not limited to Facebook Publishing Tools, Insights and Ad Manager, Canva), strong familiarity with Adobe Suite, online registration tools, and online evaluation tools.

Program and Marriage Preparation Coordinator - Diocese of Richmond

The Diocese of Richmond is seeking a Program and Marriage Preparation Coordinator to work on a collaborative team to assist in managing the nearly 150 programs and events sponsored by the Office for Evangelization, Office of Social Ministries, and Center for Marriage, Family, and Life.  These programs and events range from 25 to 3,000 participants of all ages and demographics.  In addition, the Coordinator oversees the implementation of the Diocesan Marriage Preparation Program (Unveiled). 

Qualifications: This position requires the successful candidate to be a practicing Catholic in good standing with a strong working knowledge of relevant Church documents. A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Must possess certification in Event Planning, Coordination or Management, or a willingness to work towards it.

Diocesan Missionary Team (DMT) - Diocese of Charleston

Do you want to make a difference in Catholic young people’s lives? We are looking for young adults between 18-28 years of age to proclaim the “Good News” to the youth of the Diocese of Charleston as missionaries!

The Diocesan Missionary Team is entering its fourth year of service. Based out of beautiful and historic downtown Charleston, the DMT’s main ministry outreach is leading retreats throughout the diocese. When the DMT is not giving retreats, they will serve at a parish or Catholic high school, assisting the youth minister or campus minister in their ministry.

The Office of Youth Ministry will provide each DMT member with: a generous stipend, housing, meals, training, community, transportation and all the support you need to be effective ministers to our youth.

What we ask of each member of the DMT is the following: a strong Catholic faith life, the heart of a servant, the ability to live in community and the ability to serve from August 21, 2019 to June 13, 2020.
