2006 NCCYM—NACYML Members

The National Association of Catholic Youth Ministry Leaders (NACYML) is a member-driven professional organization of ordained and lay ecclesial ministers dedicated to the field of youth ministry.

Membership to the association is open to adults who view their role in youth ministry as a vocation, are committed to ongoing professional development and ministry formation, and are connected to a Catholic parish, school or youth serving agency. The purpose of the association is to strengthen and support its members in their ministry and professional development, as they serve the young Catholic Church.

As a member-driven organization it is important for members to gather on a regular basis. The biennial NACYML membership meeting has a three-fold purpose:

  • For members to set the direction for and to engage in the work of the organization in light of its mission to “promote the profession and practice of youth ministry.”
  • To provide an opportunity for members to network with one another.
  • To offer in-service on either the profession or practice of youth ministry.

This will be both a working meeting and a time growth in the profession of youth ministry.
