Middle School Youth Minister

Location: St. John Bosco Youth Ministry, Jasper, IN

Job Summary: St. John Bosco Youth Ministry is a multi-parish youth ministry that is seeking a part-time Middle School Youth Minister to implement a relational, high- energy ministry program with students in grades six through eight from the four supporting parishes of this ministry. Responsibilities include planning and executing weekly youth nights, monthly events, school outreach and helping plan and attend the annual middle school retreat. The ideal candidate actively professes and lives the Catholic faith; strives to grow in their relationship with Jesus and the Catholic Church; demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills; is energetic and effective at public speaking; and has strong communication, collaborative and organizational skills. The candidate should have an adequate understanding of youth culture and development. Fluency in social media platforms, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Docs and past or current paid/volunteer experience with youth are required. The position aims to be 75% with youth and 25% in office. The candidate should be familiar with the safe environment policies of the Diocese of Evansville and be willing to pursue professional development opportunities as deemed appropriate. Youth Ministry Administrative Assistant

Location: St. John Bosco Youth Ministry, Jasper, IN

Job Summary: St. John Bosco Youth Ministry is a multi-parish youth ministry that is seeking a part-time, 8-10 hour per week, Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will be in good standing with the Catholic Church. They will be able to respect and uphold the standards of confidentiality of all youth and adults involved in this ministry. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the four collaborating parishes, Director of St. John Bosco Youth Ministry, the CORE Leadership Team and the Finance Committee. The candidate will assist in coordinating weekly & monthly programming, equipping volunteers, connecting with youth and their families, and organizing events. This person should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills; organizational & administrative proficiency using Microsoft and Google Docs; and the ability to collaborate with staff and volunteers of various ages, abilities and backgrounds. This person should be a team player, have a strong sense of responsibility, be familiar with the safe environment policies of the Diocese of Evansville and have a desire to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Coordinator of Youth Ministry

Location: St. Cecilia Church, Columbus, OH

Job Summary: St. Cecilia Church, in Columbus, OH is seeking a part time Youth Minister to lead our youth in areas of fellowship, worship, and service from a young person’s perspective. The position will serve students in middle and high school (6th – 12th grades). Successful candidates will have exceptional experience and drive for enthusiastically engaging our youth in formational, social, and stewardship activities. The Youth Minister will work closely with a team of adult volunteers to develop and execute a vision and mission for our youth ministry programming.

Youth Minister(s)
