NFCYM In Services Presents…

The National Study of Youth and Religion: WIll Our Faith Have Children?

Overview

An in-depth look at the groundbreaking National Study of Youth and Religion (NSYR) and what it reveals about the faith of young people today, along with the practices and beliefs of both teens and their parents. The study, performed by Dr. Christian Smith and colleagues at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 2001-2005 has much to say to the Catholic church regarding the current and future efforts of faith formation at all levels. This training in-service analyzes both the conclusions from the study as well as important implications for the leadership of the church and those who minister within it.
