NFCYM In Services Presents…

A Vision for the Vineyard: Empowering Lay Leaders for Ministry in the Fields

Overview

Get better equipped to raise up, form and mission lay leaders for ministry, using the bishops' recently-approved document, Co-Workers in the Vineyard of the Lord. Learn what the most current research says about lay ministers, and how Co-Workers and the National Certification Standards for Lay Ecclesial Ministers can help us meet the challenges we face.

Intended Audience:This in-service provides a dynamic opportunity for dialogue across the boundaries that frequently separate ministry specializations. Therefore, this program is most effective when the audience…

  • includes mainly “staff level” ministers: pastors, parish and diocesan leaders (youth ministry, catechetical leaders, pastoral associates, music directors) and all those involved in lay ministry formation.
  • represents a range of experience, from new ministers to seasoned ones.
