Pastoral Response to Gay and Lesbian Youth

Catholic Association for Lesbian and Gay Ministries

A national network of diocesan and parish pastoral ministries for gay and lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons and their families, CALGM promotes welcoming and safe faith communities and spiritual support for youth and adults who seek to integate sexuality and spirituality. Resources include a website, national conferences, and quarterly e-mail newsletters.

Courage

Courage, an apostolate of the Roman Catholic Church, ministers to those with same-sex attractions and their loved ones. They have been endorsed by the Pontifical Council for the Family. John Paul II said of this ministry, "COURAGE is doing the work of God!"  They also have an outreach called Encourage which ministers to relatives and friends of persons with same-sex attractions. From their website you can learn about homosexuality and chastity.
