editor of FaithWays: 6-8 grade (CMD), and a contributing author to Confirming Disciples (CMD), the Discovering series (SMP), and Religion Teacher's Journal. Her humor, passion and love for young people are contagious!

Center for Ministry Development
The Center for Ministry Development is an independent, non-profit organization whose core purpose is to bring the Good News in new ways to the people of God. Their mission is to empower faith communities and their leaders for effective ministry with adolescents, young adults, and families through ministry education for leaders, ministry development training and resources, programs, and publications. The Center provides its programs, services, and resources to parishes, dioceses, Catholic schools and universities, and national organizations. The Center has worked for the USCCB on youth ministry, young adult ministry, family ministry, and Catholic social teaching projects.
Programs and services of the Center include: Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies, Empowering Adults for Youth Ministry, YouthLeader, Young Neighbors in Action, and YouthServe. The Center is currently involved in a multiyear project entitled, Generations of Faith. This project is designed to promote intergenerational faith formation in parish communities. Publications for young adolescents include: FaithWays, Confirming Disciples - Jr. High Edition, and Youth Ministry Access.

Sr. Ann Cassidy, FMA
As the associate director for Early Adolescent Services in San Antonio, Sr. Ann has a wealth of knowledge about early adolescent ministry and an unmatched enthusiasm for finding ways to unite junior high and middle school students to the church.

Lisa-Marie Calderone-Stewart, Ed.D.
Lisa is associate director for youth ministry in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. During her first seven years in Milwaukee, she was associate director for early adolescent ministry and leadership training. An author of 20 books and more than 50 articles on youth and family ministry, Lisa does training in the areas of creative catechetics, prayer and spirituality, youth leadership training, and ministry with young adolescents. Her doctoral
research was on youth leadership training; she developed the model of "transformational ministry."

Carole Goodwin, DMin
Director of Youth Ministry in the Archdiocese of Louisville, Dr. Goodwin is an expert in young adolescent ministry. She is the author of the book Quicksilvers: Ministering with Junior High Youth and was one of the keynote speakers at the National Conference on Catholic Youth Ministry in 2002.

Mike Patin
Mike has worked with teenagers and adults in a variety of settings over the past 18 years. He has served as a high school religion teacher, campus minister and assistant coach. He also served in the CYO/Youth Ministry Office for the Archdiocese of New Orleans for 12 years. Mike now works as a speaker and consultant to Catholic parishes and schools on issues from faith to leadership and all things Catholic in between.
