Q2. WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?
As Director of Diversity and Inclusion, I am responsible for NFCYM’s efforts to live into its values as inclusive and diverse organization. I support our members by helping them with resources, consultation, and training to serve the diverse realities of young people today. I am also responsible for our relationships with other organizations and institutions serving the multicultural realities of our youth and the Catholic Church in the U.S.
Q3. WHY DO YOU WORK FOR NFCYM?
I have worked for NFCYM since 2018. Ministering with and advocating for young people is my vocation. Being blessed to grow up and serve in the diverse communities of Chicago, I find the opportunity that NFCYM has provided by creating this role to be an amazing gift to the field of Catholic youth ministry and to the U.S. Catholic Church. To help lead this important work is an honor and privilege and I am proud that NFCYM is taking a leadership role in helping us be a more welcoming and inclusive community to all our brothers and sisters.

I love listening and learning from people and helping to develop relationships among the amazing people who are doing this ministry.
