Scholarship Details
NFCYM provides scholarship assistance to its members for participation in the Annual Membership Meeting (AMM). Scholarships are awarded regionally for multicultural representation and economic need. Additionally, there are funds to assist members of the National Catholic Committee for Girl Scouts and Camp Fire. *New in 2021, additional scholarship funding is also available to regions for assistance specifically for Associate Member representation if needed.

All members who are interested in applying for scholarship assistance must complete the Individual Financial Request Form. Submissions will be reviewed by your Regional Board Representative, for consideration for scholarship. Awarded scholarships will be in the form of one complimentary registration to the Annual Membership Meeting. When submitting the financial request form individuals will have the option to choose whether they are seeking scholarship for this year’s in-person event in Long Beach, CA, or for the virtual online event. Submission deadline has been extended to December 10, 2021.
MULTICULTURAL SCHOLARSHIPS
Each of the fourteen (14) regions receives one (1) complimentary AMM registration for an individual chosen by the region to broaden its representation of the diversity of the church, either by the individual or the ministry/work of the individual chosen.
ECONOMIC NEED SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarship funds are available for those who wish to attend the AMM and who have expressed an economic need.
ASSOCIATE MEMBER SCHOLARSHIPS
Each of the fourteen (14) regions receives one (1) complimentary AMM registration, if needed, which shall be designated for an Associate member representative.
National Catholic Committee for Girls Scouts and Camp Fire (NCCGSCF) representatives will be provided scholarships to offset the cost of NCCGSCF representatives’ attendance at the AMM.
