Use this time to network with others in your region, across your membership and with others around the country.
During table conversations, be open and share your experiences, but also garner wisdom from others in the field.
Listen and take notes- it’s easy to want to stay connected and continue to work while you are at the meeting, but by not being fully present you will miss out.
Registration includes access to top-notch professional development, networking with other ministry professionals from around the country, opportunities for communal prayer and support, fellowship, and host lunch each day.
Great question! Exchange pricing includes banquet style meals, the cost of the conference center at the hotel, coffee breaks, and the ability to bring in national speakers. You’re investing in your professional career and in return investing in the young people to encounter every day!
Arrive at Exchange ready to connect with ministry leaders, ready to contribute to the conversation, and ready to support the development of the field of youth ministry across the country!
For first-time participants we will have some guides available for you if you’d like to walk through the week with them.

Most participants will want to plan to depart for home no earlier than Thursday.

We recommend dressing in business casual at Exchange. We know this means different things for everyone. As a reminder you are representing your ministry, diocese, parish, etc. We recommend dressing in layers; the temperatures in Louisville during February can vary, we will be inside, where temperatures can fluctuate.
Participants should not distribute any handouts to participants or leave materials on other tables.
Lunch will be provided Monday through Wednesday. Dinner is on your own! Tuesday night historically has been when Region Leaders plan a dinner out.
The hotel does not offer a shuttle service. Rideshare is your best option, since there will be many participants flying in and out, you can share the fare with an Exchange participant.
