Youth & Young Adult Minister
Location: Conventual Church of Our Lady of the Angels (OLA) at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Paradise Valley, AZ
Job Description: The Conventual Church of Our Lady of the Angels (OLA) is seeking a Youth and Young Adult Minister, to join a collaborative ministry team focused on evangelization, relationship-building, and faith formation. Founded by the Franciscan Friars, OLA, is a non-parish community, that welcomes people from across the Phoenix metro area and works in close cooperation with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix. Because OLA is not a neighborhood parish, this role places special emphasis on intentional community-building, outreach and evangelization.
The Youth & Young Adult Minister fosters faith formation for teens, families, and young adults through coordinating, facilitating, and evaluating programs. Partnering with the Faith Formation team, this role offers age-appropriate and intergenerational opportunities, fosters a sense of belonging within OLA, and reaches beyond church to the diocese and OFM province.

Director of Faith Formation
Location: St. John XXIII Parish, Evanston, IL
Job Description: The Director of Youth Faith Formation is responsible for leading and directing vibrant programming that provides young people (ages 12-18) opportunities to encounter Jesus Christ, build community, and experience missionary discipleship. The director strengthens the parish’s commitment to youth and facilitates the ongoing development of a personal and communal relationship between young people, the faith community, and God. The scope of this position is to discern, design, and implement ongoing formation opportunities for young people that integrate them into all components of the life of the parish. The director is responsible for the development, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing improvement of the formation initiatives, expanding youth involvement in parish ministries, including liturgical leadership, service, and prayer opportunities. The director must demonstrate strong leadership skills necessary to identify, develop, and retain strong teams of volunteer leaders critical to the success of parish ministry.
