Director of Youth Ministry, Diocese of Fall River

The Diocese of Fall River is seeking a Director of Youth Ministry to join our team at the Chancery Office in Fall River, MA. We are seeking a self-motivated and team-orientated individual of high integrity, who possesses a great work ethic and is passionate about fulfilling “Christ’s work on earth.”

The Director of Youth Ministry is a full-time position and will report to the Senior Director, Faith Formation, Youth, Young Adult and Family Life Ministries, focusing primarily on middle and high school aged young people, their families, and those who minister to them. This position will aid our office in its mission to work with the Diocese of Fall River’s parishes, personnel and agencies to evangelize and form engaged disciples for Christ. Director of Development for the Catholic Campus Ministry at James Madison University, Harrisonburg VA

The Catholic Diocese of Richmond seeks a Director of Development for the Catholic Campus Ministry at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.

The Director of Development at the Catholic Campus Ministry at JMU will be responsible for growing and expanding an already well-established development program. They will work closely with the Director and Chaplain to expand and identify more alumni and friends of the ministry to participate in our ministry. Responsibilities will include mailing appeal letters, newsletters, thanking supporters, and creating the annual plan for fundraising and development.  They will also assist with the feasibility phase and potential implementation of a capital campaign to build a new student center.

Requirements: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required with 3-5 years of experience in fund development preferred. This is a full-time exempt position on a salary basis.

As part of the re-envisioning and re-structuring of youth ministry, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia seeks a Director for the newly created Office of Ministry with Youth. Aligning its vision with Pope Francis’ apostolic exhortation on young people, Christus Vivit, the mission of this new office is to equip and support parishes and parish leadership to animate young people (post-Confirmation and high school age) as missionary disciples of Jesus Christ.

The Director of Ministry with Youth is a faith-filled missionary disciple responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive plan for the ministry and accompaniment with young Catholics. This is a full-time position who reports to a Supervisor and collaborates with the Archbishop’s Delegate for Ministry with Young Adults and Youth.  This position requires some night and weekend responsibilities with occasional overnight travel. DIRECTOR OF CAMPUS MINISTRY – DIOCESE OF RICHMOND

The Catholic Diocese of Richmond is seeking a Director of Campus Ministry to serve the Catholic Campus Ministries at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA and Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA.

Virginia Commonwealth University is a large, public, university with an enrollment of 30,000 students. Randolph-Macon College is a private liberal arts school with an enrollment of 1,500 students.  The Director of Campus Ministry is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive campus ministry program for the students of Virginia Commonwealth University and Randolph-Macon College. 

Qualifications: Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing.  A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required with a master’s degree preferred (in a relevant field).  3-5 years of prior experience in pastoral work, preferably campus ministry.

REGIONAL YOUTH COORDINATOR FOR YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY – DIOCESE OF SACRAMENTO

The Diocese of Sacramento Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry seeks a Regional Coordinator for Youth & Young Adult Ministry for the Sacramento Region. The Regional Coordinator creates, directs, and maintains the ministry to youth (adolescents age 12-18), and young adults (women and men, married and single, in college and in their twenties and thirties) throughout the Sacramento area, by forming, supporting, and partnering with youth and young adult ministry coordinators, parish staffs, leaders of apostolic movements, and others who are committed to accompanying young disciples. The Office for Youth and Young Adult Ministry seeks to build a Church that shares God’s love with the young by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus in a beautiful and relevant way, forming servant leaders, accompaniment, and forming authentic Christian community. Ideal candidate will have an MA in Pastoral Ministry or Theology or related field (BA is acceptable with extensive training and experience), 5 years’ experience in parish youth and/or young adult ministry. DIOCESAN MISSIONARY TEAM WORSHIP LEADER – FULL TIME, DIOCESE OF CHARLESTON

Do you want to make a difference in Catholic young people’s lives?  We are looking for young adults between 18-28 years of age to proclaim the “Good News” to the youth of the Diocese of Charleston as missionaries!

Based out of beautiful and historic downtown Charleston, the DMT’s main ministry outreach is leading retreats for young people throughout the diocese.  When the DMT is not giving retreats, they will serve at a parish, a Catholic high school, or campus ministry in the Charleston area. The worship leader must be able to play an instrument, preferably guitar or keyboard, and be a strong vocalist in order to lead others in authentic worship during retreats.

Each DMT member will receive: a generous stipend, housing, meals, training, community, transportation and all the support you need to be effective ministers to our youth. What we ask of each member of the DMT is the following:  a strong Catholic faith life, the heart of a servant, the ability to live in community and the ability to serve from August 18, 2020 to June 12, 2021.

Director, Office of Young Adult Ministry, Pastoral Juvenil & Campus Ministry – Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston

The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is seeking eligible candidates for the position of Director, Office of Young Adult Ministry, Pastoral Juvenil and Campus Ministry. This position reports directly to the Secretariat Director for Pastoral and Educational Ministry and provides leadership in the ongoing formation of Catholic young adults in their twenties and thirties, both single and married, in a diverse multilingual intercultural setting by providing training, support, and resources for those responsible for this ministry in parishes and in college/university campus ministry centers. Supervises, assists, and supports campus ministry directors.

This position is responsible for developing and implementing, in collaboration with representative parish, campus and archdiocesan leaders, a vision and long-range plan for young adult ministry on the archdiocesan level, in the parishes and on college/university campuses. Along with facilitating archdiocesan gatherings of young adults for continuing growth in faith, adult relationships, vocational discernment and other areas of need and interest through the activities of the appropriate leadership structures.

Requirements: Master’s Degree. Pastoral Theology or related field. Minimum of 4 years pastoral ministry to/with young adults. Supervisory experience as well as knowledge of parish and church structures. Campus ministry experience is desirable. Bilingual – English/Spanish is a plus. This person must be a practicing Catholic in good standing.
