Director of Life and Family Evangelization

Job Description: The Director of Life and Family Evangelization serves a ministerial role as a Diocesan resource on the pastoral care of the family and related topics such as marriage preparation and enrichment, life and dignity issues and natural family planning. Provides information and referral on family services such as grief and healing after a loss, marriage counseling, pregnancy resources, post-abortive support and healing from divorce. Serves as a legislative liaison on matters related to life and family both at the state and federal levels. In addition, the Director fosters the values, principles, doctrines and teachings of the Catholic Church to individuals they encounter in their daily work.

Director of Youth Ministry

Job Description: The Archdiocese of New York is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled individual who can bring his/her gifts and experience to serve as the Director of Youth Ministry. Working as part of a team that supports parish ministry from baptism to twelfth grade, your expertise will be utilized to help young people in grades 6-12 and their families grow in their love of Christ and live their Catholic faith. The diverse family of the Archdiocese of New York comprises of three of the five boroughs of New York City, as well as seven counties north of the city. Job Description: The Director of Youth and Young Adult ministry is the subject matter specialist of the young Church in the Archdiocese of San Antonio. The Director has as its basis a fundamental integration of the New Evangelization and Missionary Discipleship in a “pastoral de conjunto” to serve the multicultural pastoral needs of children, youth, young adults, adults, persons with disabilities and seniors. The Director supports leadership, vision and content of the Archbishop of San Antonio working collaboratively to carry out the mutually shared vision. The Director is also responsible for assisting with leadership, vision and content to all archdiocesan parishes and entities, regarding outreach and ministry to young adults, including but not limited to furthering and developing programs and initiatives that address the spiritual, formative and social advancement of young adults in the Archdiocese of San Antonio so that they can assume a leading, vibrant, integral role in the Church and society, primarily as missionary disciples of Jesus Christ.

Job Description: Under the leadership of the Senior Director of Ministries, the Director serves as a leader for the Diocese in youth, young adult, and campus ministry. The Director is charged with visioning, articulating, and executing a creative ministry plan for the fostering of disciples in parishes and Diocesan Catholic Schools. The Director articulates pathways for ministry that are goal-oriented, measurable and authentically relational by implementing a focused approach toward the primary purpose of effective ministry—an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ for each person. Education/Experience: Masters degree in Theology or related field; 5+ years parish experience in youth and/or young adult ministry; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Associate Director of Lay Formation and Family Ministries

Assistant Director of Faith Formation for Youth and Young Adult Ministry

Job Description: Facilitates the development of youth and young adult ministries in the schools and parishes of the Diocese by serving as a resource, support, and communications link with these entities; providing formation and collaborative opportunities for youth ministers; ensuring that programs follow the youth ministry components as outlined by the USCCB and supporting the implementation of diocesan programs for youth (6th-12th grades) and young adults and those who serve them.

Responsibilities include:

  • Works collaboratively with Faith Formation team to create and implement innovative catechetical and evangelical youth and young adult programs.
  • Mentors youth ministers throughout the Diocese, designs programs and resources for their continued ministerial development.
  • Creates and manages all Diocesan-level retreats and initiatives including but not limited to logistics and transportation, content creation (as needed), lodging, catering, marketing, scheduling, ensuring Safe Environment compliance, and coordinating with affiliated adult and/or student volunteer leaders.

Associate Director, Office of Young Adult and Campus Ministry

Job Description: The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is seeking eligible candidates for the position of Associate Director for the Office of Young Adult Ministry, Pastoral Juvenil & Campus Ministry. Job Description: The Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau, Missouri is seeking qualified applicants for a position which will work in collaboration with the Diocesan Director of Evangelization, Catechesis, and Youth Formation. Director of Campus Ministry

Location: Diocese of Richmond (Virginia Military Institute and Washington and Lee University)

Job Description: Virginia Military Institute is a public institution in the military tradition with an enrollment of 1,700 undergraduate cadets.  Washington and Lee University is a private, liberal arts school with an enrollment of 2,175.  The Director of Campus Ministry is responsible for the development, implementation, and direction of comprehensive campus ministry programs for the students of both Lexington schools.  Furthermore, these responsibilities include supervising student leaders, pastorally responding to student needs, and overseeing student programs and activities.  Additionally, the Director would have the responsibility of overseeing financial accounts, serving as the liaison between the local Catholic parish, overseeing development efforts, building interfaith relationships among the other campus ministries.
