Adore Ministries Part Time & Full Time Missionary

Location: Houston, Texas and surrounding areas

Job Description: Adore Ministries is looking to hire Part Time (8-10 hours a week) and Full Time (35-40 hours) Missionaries.  Missionaries are placed in parishes where they evangelize and catechize Jr. High & High School youth, as well as serving the larger community in a missional capacity as well.  Through the community of missionaries who learn, pray and grow together, Adore is a grassroots ministry centered on knowing, loving and serving God.  We intentionally minister and disciple our missionaries, as well as place a strong emphasis on the development of the whole human person.  Missionaries are primarily placed in Houston and the surrounding areas and fundraise their salary and some benefits are offered, with generous vacation time.  Missionaries are placed for one year intervals, with personal and staff retreats offered once a year.

DISCERNMENT AND VOCATION COORDINATOR

Location: The Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, Garrison, NY

Job Description:
Awareness/sensitivity in multi-cultural environments, relating respectfully with a diversity of persons, age groups and cultures.  Other languages preferred, especially Spanish. Demonstrated commitment to personal Catholic life-long faith formation, personal and professional growth; an ability to share a growing spiritual maturity. Relationship building experience and nurturing attitude.  Outreach skills, computer, organizational and social media literacy is required and design experience, video editing, layout is preferred. Some theological education and pastoral/parish experience in prayer leadership, with prior discernment/vocational experience preferred.  Experience in music and different forms of Catholic liturgy is preferred as well as ability to play a musical instrument and lead singing. Ability to travel internationally required.

FADICA, a leading organization of Catholic foundations and philanthropists, seeks a part-time Catholic Education Fellow to assist with FADICA’s Catholic Education Initiative. The Initiative seeks to expand the understanding, practice, and support for sustainable Catholic schools through convening funders and leaders in Catholic education, and through commissioned research responsive to member interests and trends in Catholic education. The Fellow would manage FADICA’s Catholic schools governance and market research projects, assist with coordination of member working groups and convenings, and foster relationships with various Catholic education national partners. Maryknoll Lay Missioners (MKLM) is seeking a MAJOR GIFTS OFFICER.  Working closely with the Director of Mission Advancement, the Major Gift Officer is responsible for the Major Donor Program: identifying, developing, managing, and growing strategic relationships with existing and potential donors. This includes prospect research, cultivation, stewardship and solicitation plans for individuals, foundations, and businesses with the goal of securing funding for MKLM. SPIRITUS CATHOLIC YOUTH MINISTRY

Location: Menasha, WI

Job Description: We are seeking passionate Catholics, 20-29 years old, who want to ignite the faith in Catholic youth! SPIRITUS missionaries live in community, travel to schools and parishes throughout Wisconsin, and inspire 5,000+ youth in grades 2-12 through retreats, spiritual programs, and parish-based youth ministry.

You’ll learn valuable evangelization, youth ministry and leadership skills all while deepening your faith and discerning God’s plan for your life. It’s an awesome opportunity to serve our Lord and help young Catholics grow in faith!

Requirements: SPIRITUS missionaries come to Wisconsin and spend nine months on a mission from mid-August to mid-May. CLINIC Director of Finance

Job Description: The Director of Finance is responsible for leading, managing, directing, and supervising CLINIC’s financial operations. This position ensures that all financial functions are effectively planned and consistently executed utilizing sound and compliant financial policies and procedures, proactive, strategic and forward-looking planning.

The Director of Finance helps guide the planning and decision-making affecting the entire organization and shares responsibility for achieving the agency’s mission through effective and efficient mobilization of its financial resources.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee annual budgeting process using relevant forecasting techniques.
• Maintain full integrity of all financial processes using organizational policies and procedures that are compliant with law, ethical operational guidelines, and best practices.
• Conduct and analyze internal audits to monitor and control cash flow, reduce expenditures, and maximize revenue.
• Manage day-to-day operations of all accounting functions including budgeting, cash flow processing (receivables and payables) and reporting functions.
• Prepare all financial reports and enable the production of the annual audit and tax returns in an effective and efficient manner.
• Lead a team to accurately and effectively complete the work of the Finance Section.
• Work closely with the leadership team, including the Board of Directors’ Finance and Audit Committee enabling them to maintain the integrity of financial decisions.
• Support all organizational function areas such as advancement, human resources, operations and programs by assisting in strategy development, financial management procedure design and goal implementation.

Catholic Volunteer Network Development Manager or Consultant

The Development Manager or Consultant will help envision and lead development strategies during a time of
organizational transition and discernment. Duties will include responsibility for systems and strategies, donor relations and solicitations, and organizational support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or related experience. Several years of professional experience in development work.
• Demonstrated success in managing fundraising efforts and grant writing.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Oral and written Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Understanding of foundations (Catholic and secular) that are relevant for CVN’s mission. Understanding of trends in philanthropy. Ability to offer a vision for expanding CVN’s grant efforts and beginning new relationships with foundation staff.
• Strong technology skills. Database management experience. Familiarity with WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Creative and excited about helping support new strategies and systems. Able to learn about organizational needs and industry trends and incorporate that
knowledge into organizational infrastructure and systems.
• Highly organized.
• Collaborative and team oriented.
• Experience with faith-based organizations, ecumenical approaches to service, efforts to deepen commitments to diversity, equity and justice, and/or volunteer
programs helpful.
• Flexible, able to work remotely, and able to adjust to changing environments.
