Membership Manager

While the membership manager’s responsibility is to recruit new members for CALL and retain current members, it is important for the

Job Description: Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Staff Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the Secretariat staff and to the Bishops’ Committee it serves, with exceptional administrative support to the Executive Director. This position is responsible for office and fiscal management and for all other operations that support the implementation of approved projects and responsibilities undertaken by the committee and staff.

The Staff Assistant contributes to the bishops’ strategic plan for the Conference. Demonstrates willingness and ability to understand, respect, and contribute to the USCCB mission and fulfill job duties following its Catholic identity.

Education Level: Undergraduate degree or equivalent preferred

Major Field/Specialty: Humanities, liberal arts, communications, theology/religious studies are preferable.

Full Time Campus Ministry Interns

Job Description: The Catholic Diocese of Richmond is seeking Full Time Campus Ministry Interns.

Interns will be assigned to a specific campus within the Catholic Diocese of Richmond where they will serve for the year(s) of their internship.  The intern’s role on that campus will be determined under the supervision of the local Campus Ministry staff and the Diocesan Associate Director for Campus Ministry.  Interns can be expected to be involved in many aspects of the day to day running of their assigned ministry.  As the internship progresses the intern will be given greater responsibilities as his or her familiarity with the ministry and with his or her position on staff grows.

Some roles and responsibilities that could be expected of the intern include but are not limited to: coordinator of small groups, oversight of positions on the leadership teams, coordinating retreats and service trips, one on one meetings with students, helping to lead men’s or women’s outreach, assisting with administrative tasks, facility upkeep, helping with RCIA, working on campus outreach, planning and coordinating Masses and other prayer opportunities, and assisting with promotional efforts.

In addition to these responsibilities interns will be expected to participate on a Diocesan level by assisting with Office for Evangelization events.

Qualifications: It is understood that during this time the intern will be working on pursuing a master’s degree or certificate in a field that is pertinent to Campus Ministry. Interns must be practicing Catholics in good standing.  The position would be 40 hours a week, non-exempt.

2022 Musician/Worship Leader

Job Description: Catholic Mission Trips, Inc. is equipping youth to be missionary disciples. Responsibilities include working on a team to run mission trips, and providing a praise and worship experience for teens. Includes coordinating with our priest chaplain for daily Mass & Eucharistic Adoration Holy Hours. The ideal candidate will be on fire for Christ, have experience leading praise and worship, be skilled on the guitar and vocally, and have mission trips or youth ministry experience. Musicians ensure safety on the work sites and lead worship during our evening program. This position covers room and board, travel expenses, and a weekly stipend. Some fundraising is required. All staff are encouraged to do fundraising prior to the mission. Coaching for fundraising support provided upon job acceptance to start raising funds as soon as possible. Training includes 2 weeks of missionary discipleship formation, prayer, daily Mass, Adoration, team building, mission trip prep, and construction basic training. The summer mission season ends with Mission Leader debrief retreat July 31-Aug 3th in Muenster,TX. We are also looking for musicians during our off season one week mission trips.

Responsibilities include working on a team of 4-5 to run week-long mission trips, ministering to teens, giving formation talks, leading small groups, assisting in construction projects, ensure safety on the work sites, serving the poor, personal prayer time, and creating grace-filled environments of fun, games, prayer, and spiritual enrichment for the youth. Included but not limited to: liturgy coordinating, meal shopping/prep, coordinating projects with contractors, investing time in relationship building with team & participants. At team training we will discern gifts, talents, and desires to seek where the Holy Spirit may be inviting us to exercise gifts or stretch to learn new skills to best work as a community. All applicants should possess a deep love for the Catholic faith, a servant’s heart, and a willingness to endure minor sufferings all for the greater honor and glory of God. The ideal candidate will be on fire for Christ, have excellent teamwork skills, have mission trip or youth ministry experience, and be flexible on the job. Applicants must be at least 20 years old to serve as a Junior Mission Leader and at least 23 years old to serve as a Senior Mission Leader. Some fundraising is required.  All staff are encouraged to do fundraising prior to the mission. Coaching for fundraising support provided upon job acceptance to start raising funds as soon as possible.  Must be at least 27 years old with prior mission trip experience and 2-3 years of youth ministry experience. Team Leader is responsible for leading a group of 4 college/young adult mission leaders in executing a professional mission trip for high school youth. Beginning on Sunday May 22, 2022 CMT Staff Team training begins at the CMT mission base in Muenster, TX. Training includes 2 weeks of missionary discipleship formation, prayer, daily Mass, Adoration, team building, mission trip prep, and construction basic training. The summer mission season ends with Mission Leader debrief retreat July 31-Aug 3th in Muenster,TX.
