Youth Minister

Job Description: St. Mark Catholic Church is seeking a full-time faith-filled Catholic Youth Minister who can lead the hearts of youth in grades six to twelve to Christ. We are seeking someone who is innovative and intentional in working with not only youth, but parents, and volunteers in a culturally diverse parish. 

Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive youth ministry that includes evangelization, discipleship, and formation opportunities. Ultimately, a successful Youth Minister will assist the St. Mark parish community by inviting, inspiring, forming, and leading youth to know and love Jesus Christ. Director of Youth Evangelization and Formation

Job Description: St. Boniface Catholic Church is seeking a gifted and experienced missionary disciple and ministry leader to join their team.  The role as currently defined gives primary focus to adolescent faith formation and comprehensive youth ministry.

Additionally, candidates who bring strong abilities to lead a staff of parish catechetical leaders will be considered for expanded responsibilities, under the title of Director of Parish Evangelization and Formation.  The salary is competitive and commensurate with the role for which the catechetical leader will be hired.  Benefits are excellent.  Candidates with a ministry-related degree and 5-8 years of parish experience are preferred.

Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry

Coordinator of Youth Ministry

Job Description: St. Mark Catholic Church is seeking a passionate and capable individual to coordinate our Middle and High School Youth Ministry Programs. The heart of youth ministry is personal relationship. We believe in the old adage that people don’t care how much you know till they know how much you care. Our vision for youth ministry is for the kids to feel seen, loved, and lastly challenged.

You will report directly to the Director of Youth Ministry. Our ministry involves two youth nights per week, occasional odd hours, and several retreats a year. Under the Director, you will assist with finding and training core team members, planning youth nights, executing the vision of youth ministry for the year, and collaborating with other departments and staff members to accomplish the parish’s mission. You will give talks, lead small groups, develop relationships with youth, and receive ongoing personal formation.

Youth Minister

Job Description: The Youth Minister will develop and implement a comprehensive ministry program for the youth (grades 6-12) of the parish community. This includes faith formation, evangelization, sacrament preparation, and community building activities. The Youth Minister will plan and implement a curriculum in consultation with the pastor. They will prepare and teach Confirmation. The Youth Minister will be responsible to recruit, train and supervise program volunteers. They will also create and facilitate leadership opportunities for a post-Confirmation Discipleship Team. The Youth Minister will promote and organize parish participation in diocesan youth events. In addition, the Youth Minister will create and schedule all social media posts, assist with maintaining Youth Ministry notices for the parish website, and participate with the staff in parish activities as needed.
