NFCYM Podcast Network
A collaborative network of podcasts serving those who minister with young people.
The NFCYM Podcast Network brings together trusted, mission-aligned voices in Catholic youth ministry to support, equip, and encourage practitioners through accessible, high-quality audio content.
What Is the NFCYM Podcast Network?
The NFCYM Podcast Network is an initiative of the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry that connects independent podcasts under a shared vision.
Each podcast in the Network is independently produced and creatively distinct, while participating in a collaborative ecosystem focused on sustainability, shared learning, and collective impact. Together, these shows exist to serve those who minister with young people by offering practical insights, theological reflection, and real-world experience.
This Network is not about competition or consolidation. It is about strengthening the field by working together.
Why a Podcast Network?
Podcasting has become an important way ministry leaders learn, reflect, and stay connected—often while commuting, traveling, or between responsibilities. The NFCYM Podcast Network exists to ensure that this content is:
- Rooted in mission and aligned with Catholic youth ministry
- Sustainable for creators committed to long-term formation
- Collaborative, not competitive
- Focused on practitioners, not trends
By sharing visibility, insights, and support, the Network amplifies voices that serve the Church’s ministry with young people.
Charter Podcasts
The NFCYM Podcast Network launches with three charter podcasts during its 2026 pilot year.
Accompany Podcast
NFCYM’s flagship podcast exploring accompaniment, formation, and the lived realities of ministry with young people.
The Church Podcast
A leadership-focused podcast equipping ministry leaders with practical and spiritual insights for accompanying young people in today’s Church.
The YDisciple Podcast
Conversations on best practices and emerging trends in youth ministry, grounded in relational ministry and theological reflection.
How the Network Works
Each podcast in the NFCYM Podcast Network remains independently hosted and produced. At the same time, participating shows commit to shared collaboration and visibility through the Network.
This includes:
- Cross-promotion among Network podcasts
- Shared visibility through NFCYM platforms
- Common network branding and identification
- Quarterly collaboration and shared learning
The goal is simple: support one another while better serving ministry leaders.
By sharing visibility, insights, and support, the Network amplifies voices that serve the Church’s ministry with young people.
A Pilot Year Focused on Learning
The NFCYM Podcast Network is launching with a one-year pilot phase in 2026.
During this pilot year, NFCYM staff and charter podcasts are working together to learn what best supports sustainable, high-quality podcasting in the field of Catholic youth ministry. Governance structures, participation criteria, and future opportunities will be shaped through this shared experience before expanding the Network.
This intentional approach allows the Network to grow with clarity, care, and purpose.
