Katherine Angulo was born in Mexico and raised in Columbia. She was the creator and editor of The Mark, a Catholic teen magazine, and the Executive Producer of the volunteer training program Called to Accompany/Llamados a Acompañar.
Katherine serves in the Strong Foundations for Catholic Leaders program, Bishop John M. D’Arcy Program in Priestly Renewal, and is partnering with Iskali to create cultures of affiliation in the Hispanic Catholic Church in the United States through the Young Adult Innovation Hub. The fourth initiative, generously supported by Gibney, seeks to re-propose the Holy Family of Nazareth as the foundation for catechetical renewal within the domestic Hispanic Church.

Ministry has always been part of my life. In the Archdiocese of Newark, NJ I led parish youth ministry with my husband and was the volunteer Diocesan Coordinator of Pastoral Juvenil Hispana (PJH). Once I received my Master’s in Pastoral Ministry from Immaculate Conception Seminary in NJ, I became an Associate Director at the Office for Youth and Young Adult Ministry where I directed Young Adult Outreach and PJH. I am currently the Director of the Office for Ministry with Youth for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. I love leadership formation, developing responsive initiatives, advocating for youth protagonism, and giving presentations.
