The National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM) Board of Directors serves as the organization’s primary governing body, providing fiduciary oversight, strategic direction, and mission alignment. The board ensures that NFCYM operates with integrity, adheres to its Catholic identity, and complies with legal, ethical, and ecclesial standards. It plays a vital role in sustaining the organization’s financial health and long-term viability.
Thanks to the many thoughtful nominations received over the past two years, the Nominating Committee has a strong pool of qualified candidates. Therefore, board nominations will not take place this year.
From this group, we are confident we will be able to propose a candidate to fill the one seat that will become vacant at the end of Fiscal Year 2026. Below is a timeline outlining the committee’s next steps in preparing and presenting the candidate for membership approval.

Nominations will be accepted between August and September. All nominations will be reviewed and considered by the nominating committee of the board. The board will present a final slate of recommended candidates to the membership in November, with a formal vote to follow in late January.
